I've had three: first one started rattling: that was the battery that had came loose.
Second one wouldn't charge up and unable to use the headphones-something to do with the plug..
Third one that was a warranty replacement from the second has given up after 89 days....this one the on/off button seems stuck in so it just skips tracks..

Pros: nice shape, cool wetsuit, good name, and more than all, good internet site!
Cons: cheap material, bad earphones, luosy (sic) sound, poor interface, and not waterproof!

Short Lived
A customer review from Target.com
Yup.
I bought this MP3 Dec.'07 for my husband. He is a runner and runs rain or shine. I thought this would be perfect. It worked fine in the begining but then the headset stopped working and then the MP3 player. It didn't last 6 mos. Although, it did out live the warranty. I would not recommend this product. The description sounds great but it just doesn't live up to it.
Yup.

Python-esque
Having experienced the untimely demise of a supposedly "waterproof" mp3 player made by Freestyle Audio, I've had a snippet of a Monty Python sketch stuck in my head.
Except, of course, that string doesn't stop being string when it gets wet. My Freestyle Audio non-waterproof devise has most certainly stopped being an mp3 player.
W: ONLY STRING?! It's everything! It's...it's waterproof!
S: No it isn't!
W: All right, it's water resistant then!
S: It isn't!
W: All right, it's water absorbent! It's...Super Absorbent String!
Except, of course, that string doesn't stop being string when it gets wet. My Freestyle Audio non-waterproof devise has most certainly stopped being an mp3 player.
